I suspect that I am somewhat lazy when it comes to things like updating a blog. I'm not sure what the deal is... I know it's not discouragement due to the lack of an audience (for which I'm thankful; I really wouldn't want to bear the responsibility of an echo returning from the great abyssal downspout of the internet). I certainly have the tendency to write randomly, and I actually take a kind of masochistic pleasure in trying to write things that are sensible, amusing, or -- at least -- legible.
Heck, I even like to read blogs, at least in a general sense.
Hmmm.
I would be willing to bet that my attention span plays a part. For example, right this moment, I'm rather bored with this post. I've given up, already, on saying anything useful. I'm fantasizing about playing video games.
